BIG BEAR BIKES

Big Bear Bikes is an independent, friendly and expert independent bike shop located in Pickering, North Yorkshire, close to Scarborough and York. We are on the edge of the North York Moors National Park and close to Dalby forest and the Yorkshire coast – all of which is great cycling territory for road, mountain or leisure biking.

We have a large showroom with over 300 bikes in stock including the latest electric bikes, mountain bikes, road bikes, hybrid and kids bikes from leading brands Trek, Raleigh, Santa Cruz, Orbea, Haibike, Raleigh and Frog.

All our bikes are available for test riding around our spacious car park so that you can always be sure of getting the best type and fit of bike for you. We don’t mind how many bikes you test ride before you find the right one and we are on hand to advise you at all times.

We offer 0% finance on all bike purchases and are registered with all major Cycle 2 Work scheme providers. The shop also carries a large range of clothing, parts and accessories from all the best cycling brands and with changing room facilities, we are your one stop cycling shop.

Our workshop is manned by fully qualified Cytech mechanics to help keep you in the saddle. We repair and service all makes and types of bikes – whatever the age and condition! All the team can advise you on any aspect of cycling such as triathlon, sportive, mountain biking, enduro, child carrying or touring and we pride ourselves on our friendliness and level of knowledge and expertise.

We are currently open 5 days a week and offer:
