We started our business almost twenty-five years ago, delivering papers locally and now to many surrounding villages.

It was always our intention to be ‘ more than just a newsagent’ and we have always endeavoured to sell unique and distinctive designer-led gifts and cards, championing small artisans and artists. We specialise in toys with eco credentials from Djeco, Jumini, Moulin Roty and Jellycat to name but a few.

We have a beautiful first floor gift room which is hugely popular, especially at Christmas where we sell seasonal items alongside exclusive gifts and homewares. Pickering is a friendly and authentic, market town with a wealth of excellent and diverse independent businesses which are the beating heart of the town.

We feel extremely fortunate to enjoy strong local support and many visitors who have become friends over the years.
