We are a local family business, established back in 1985 and a third generation business.
I took on the business in 2021 from my father who ran it originally with my mother & grandparents. Using my grandparents Yorkshire knowledge and recipes and parents business know how, they created the basis of what is Russell’s of today.
With the mix of old values & new ever changing technology & innovations, we strive to bring good quality products at reasonable prices with that wholesome friendly family feel. Specialising with our Steak pies & large flavoured sausage rolls, bringing a taste of home.
Myself, I was brought up around the business from day one, spent 6 years away serving in the Royal Marines & later, locally in the Pickering Fire & Recuse service, so I understand how important it is to be a part of something, especially our great community.
Pickering is one of those places you just got to keep going back to. The warm reception & the friendly jolly Yorkshire way is what you get from the local people.
There’s no place like home.
